Its CHINESE NEW YEAR ..the Lunar New Year. The Chinese celebrate it with pomp and grandeur. In Singapore and most countries in SE Asia , chinese new year, is the most important festival and it is holiday time!!! Family reunions and exotic dinners are the norms.

Dressed in traditional outfits i watched little kids run around with red envelopes. Their gifts from elders. So sweet !!
Singapore the city is painted RED!!The malls have beautiful laterns, the manaqeuins dressed in RED and almost everything is RED :) According to Chinese zodiac , this is the Year of the GOLDEN TIGER.

Yes RED certainly is the colour of the season with the CNY and Valentines day :) To all my friends and family i love you all very much for being my sunshine..
